Arrivederci Venice, bongiorno Florence!
Florence is not a big city, pretty but easy to walk which is exactly what we did this afternoon. My bag weighs way too much so I think a postal box will be Melbourne bound well before me! Hoping to last to Berlin so I can mail back my summer clothes.
Today we saw the statue of David - impressively large! Height-wise, and wandered across the city and over the ponte vecchio (famous bridge). Tomorrow we have the whole day to wander so a sleep in is definitely on the cards!
