We got the early boat over from the North to the South Island and drove straight to Donna Noel's place in Nelson. We met her boyfriend Andy and their house mate Claire, but unfortunately for Andy he had to go to work five minutes after we arrived, so we got on the beers with the girls. Their house is stunning and they have a beautiful garden with a lovely view. The sun beems into the living room and its just got a really nice layout.

Claire cooked us a roast dinner on the first night and being as she works in a kitchen, it was stunning. Donna let us use their spare room and to be honest, we had the best nights sleep in a long while!

The next morning Donna had to go to work so we went to a nice little market with Andy and then in the afternoon we went to the WOF museum (World of wearable arts and collectable cars). It was a little odd but really pretty cool. Ant was in his element with the cars and we ended up waiting outside for him whilst he had a look around lol.

In the evening we got a curry and by about 9 we were all ready for bed. Donna had work on Sunday again so we went for a drive around with Claire and Andy to Donna's work where we all had a lovely breakfast and then took a stroll along the beach. Sunday evening Andy cooked steak and roast veg for us followed by cheese and biscuits! We felt like Kings!!

We really enjoyed sitting in their lovely garden in the sun reading our books but as we were running low on time to get round the south island, we had to leave on Monday morning! Booo. Luckily we are heading back that way before we leave so hopefully get a chance to pop in again and say hi. Good times
