Arrived in Brisbane last Wednesday (10th April). I'd been told a lot that Brisbane wasn't really worth a visit but my first impressions proved totally the opposite!! Arrived in surfers paradise on Sunday morning. Weather unfortunately was pretty bleuurgh the first day so depressingly had to make an umbrella purchase... But definitely worth it! Was a bit concerned that buying an umbrella would of course make the weather nice but who's complaining there!! It seemed like a nice little area though despite the icky rain. Beach is huuuuge!
