I was about to start this entry with 'when I woke up this morning I....', however due to panic packing I didn't actually make it to bed at all. Rewind back a few years from now and for some unknown reason I had this crazy idea to travel the world alone for months on end with nothing but what I was carrying behind me. Since then, even whilst booking flights last October and sorting out all my other arrangements, the whole concept of me actually going away has been totally surreal.
