It was our last full day in Toronto today and I feel like we've done and seen everything we wanted to. We're ready to move on now.
We went to the Bata Shoe Museum today which is just a little further on from the ROM. It is on 4 floors (although one was closed, which seems to be the case with most of the galleries/museums we've been to so far).
It opened in 1995 and apparently has a collection of over 13,000 artifacts, although there didn't seem to be a whole lot on display (I'm guessing a lot of these 13,000 artifacts are archived)
Luckily we had a buy one get one free ticket from the hostel so it only cost us $7.00 each instead of $14.00!
It was a fairly interesting museum but I don't think it's one that will stick in my memory. I think the Northampton shoe museum is probably better!
Tomorrow we leave for Ottowa which will take around 5 hours to get to. Looking forward to exploring Canada's capital!
