Off to Nottingham Castle today to see the sheriff! Well to see the castle gardens, the house and have a beer at the "Old Trip" pub. Obviously although the whole area is focused on Robin Hood etc and they do have a display downstairs but aside from some old paintings and a nice display about the Sherwood Foresters Regiment there wasn't much else to see. What everyone mainly goes for is the views across the town. When we had finished it was down tovThe Old Trip to Jerusalem pub. This one is supposed to date back to the Crusades and certainly some parts of it look as if they havent been cleaned since. That said inside is nice and you do have to watch you head on some of the doorways.
