We were going to Lincoln today however Krysia convinced everybody that given it was sunny we should go to Skeggy. Of course you need to have fish and chips when you go to the English seaside and the Haddock and Chips was very nice. Lunch was had on the beach at North Shore and whilst it was nice and sunny the wind was biting. Here you can see one of the offshore wind farms which surprising didn't have many turbines going around given the wind we had on the beach. After lunch it was up to the pub at the North Shore Golf Club and then a long walk into and around the town. As with many UK seaside towns it looked a bit old and I still don't comprehend why they have to spoil them by building amusement arcades etc everywhere. What makes Skegness different is that the beach is actually all sand. On the way back we passed Conningsby to saw a Spitfire and Hurricane coming into land as well as a rainbow in the clouds.
