Southwell Ploughing Show is on today which I am sure Dad and Lynsey would have loved to have seen. The Shire Horse ploughing teams looked fantastic and the old tractors would have had Dad reminiscing for hours. Other than that it was a typical rural show with looks of tents flogging local produce, machinery ones selling tractors and everything in between. They did have a group of riders doing a jousting show which was entertaining and the riders had great riding skills. Whilst it was a sunny day the wind kept the temperature down. Given that everyone had to park in a paddock it was lucky it wasn't raining as the ground was spongy as it was.
