Set off for Lismore to have the caravan fixed. Rob set the GPS for the shortest route, but he forgot to take out dirt roads. You've guessed it we went through a National Park that was very much dirt and pot holes. This saved us all of 10 minutes. The many thing is we arrived safe without any further damage done. Went straight to the repair place expecting to leave the van for a few days. When the man looked at the damage he said I have a part that will fit so he put it on then did a temporarty repair to the canvass and within the hour it was fixed, good enough to get home.

However we decided to stay in Lismore for a few days to have a look around. Yesterday after house duties we took a run out to Bellina had a walk along the beach and saw a couple of whales. Today we drove out to Mt. Warning where Rob & I did the stairway to heaven. Acturally I only got half way to heaven but that was far enough. This will do me for mountian climbing for a long while.

Tomorrow we head off again heading towards Lithgow.
