Today we drove from Lorella Springs and drove to King Ash Bay. On the way we stopped at Borroloola, an aboriginal town, to shop, get fule and go to the post office. Then we arrived at King Ash Bay it was stinking hot. We set up and fished off the bank in the croc infested water but we only caught cat fish. The next day we went out to the edge of the gulf called Bing Bong where we fished off the boat ramp, Lachie caught a trevally. When we got back to camp we were very hot so we rested for the afternoon and had early showers and went over to the pub to watch the footy Raiders vs Rabbits it was a good game we also had tea at the pub. Then we went to bed. when we woke up we went and booked in for another night and tried to catch more fish off the banks. Then we went for a drive to Batten Point to see if we could fish out there but all the other campers took the good spots. When we got back we relaxed and got ice-cream and watched the boats come in at the boat ramp. There were 3 Jabirus waiting and watching too, for the fishermen's leftover bait. We couldn't get to close to the water because there was a croc called Fat Albert who hung out at the boat ramp. Then we tried another late afternoon fish but again, we didn't catch anything. Later, we went to the pub again and got pizza for tea and watched the footy, Storm vs Roosters. I was glad to see the Roosters win and are now in the GF.
