Left Streaky Bay this morning and stopped at Port Lincoln for lunch. Looked around and walked out on the jetty. Gracie is getting quite good at taking photos now. Heading up the coast a bit further today and will find a place to stop for the night.

Saturday 1st December - We left Cactus Beach and headed down through Ceduna and onto the Flinders Highway into the Eyre Peninsula. We stopped at Smoky Bay and Perlubie Beach to have a look around before we arrived in Streaky Bay. Sunday 26th - We headed up the Stuart Highway again after a pretty quiet stop at the rest area. Not many road trains going past last night. The Stuart Highway is pretty straight and not much changes. Just out of (NSW) we came upon our first straight road and they are getting longer. We left Pimba this morning after a sleepless night (except for Gracie). We had the pleasure of a 3 truck road train pull up outside the rest area at 11pm filled with cattle Oh so quiet... Steve moved the van at about midnight but to no avail - we could still hear the cattle stomping, bashing each other and the walls of the trucks and the occasional moo! We found out in the morning that the truckie very kindly slept in one of the Roadhouse rooms so he had a good ...

We left Wilmington under a blanket of mist this morning. We drove over the mountain and headed down towards Port Augusta. Beautiful green and lush country side and hills. We got to Port Augusta and went to the information centre to find out what we could do in a day! Had a great time and went to the Arid Botanic Gardens and lookout.
