We arrived on Kangaroo Island after getting the 9am ferry from Cape Jervis. As we drove off the ferry and around the corner we saw a pod of dophins in the water - what a great start to our time here!

Camped at Burra Creek Gorge at Worlds End for the night before heading into Adelaide. Apart from a couple of kangaroos we had the place to ourselves!

On our way to Burra for the nght we stopped in at Port Germain and had afternoon tea at Port Pirie.

Lunch at Port Augusta today and Gracie had a play at the park next to the inlet.

We had a long days drive today via Port Lincoln and have arrived at Fitzgerald Bay just north of Whyalla. 8pm and the sun has just set but it is still light! Another beautiful spot! Behind the van is a dune of shingle deposits that is a rarity in the world. It looks just like a ridge of red rocks or large pebbles that has been placed in position but they have been left over from shingle deposits over 30 000 years ago.
