We left Pimba this morning after a sleepless night (except for Gracie). We had the pleasure of a 3 truck road train pull up outside the rest area at 11pm filled with cattle Oh so quiet... Steve moved the van at about midnight but to no avail - we could still hear the cattle stomping, bashing each other and the walls of the trucks and the occasional moo! We found out in the morning that the truckie very kindly slept in one of the Roadhouse rooms so he had a good nghts sleep.

We visited Wommera on the way out and looked at someof the rockets that have been used at this site. As it is Saturday, there is no one here! The residents all apparently get out of the town at the weekends because there is nothing to do. You can tell that the town was all prefabricated as many of the buildings are very simple weatherboard. There is a museum but as it was a weekend - it was closed

We stopped at a road side rest area, Ingomar, for the night but on the way we paused for a view of Lake Gairdner
