We had a long days drive today via Port Lincoln and have arrived at Fitzgerald Bay just north of Whyalla. 8pm and the sun has just set but it is still light!

Another beautiful spot! Behind the van is a dune of shingle deposits that is a rarity in the world. It looks just like a ridge of red rocks or large pebbles that has been placed in position but they have been left over from shingle deposits over 30 000 years ago.

We are heading into Whyalla tomorrow for a look around.
