hey all, im currently in Hua Hin its totally wicked im so glad i decided to come up here i was a bit unsure about it as apparenty no backpackers have ever heard of it... losers. im obviously well ahead of the times as its totally awesome!

i last wrote my blog when i was going to get ready for the castle party in koh tao, we went for food where janine managed to order a tofu burger which was freeeezing cold. colder than a russian. she was like 'these are meant to be cold yeah' haha thinks not but never mind tofu is made from fresh air anyways so no chance of illness from that so she ate it all. i had a massive cheese burger it was amazing. i hope you all love hearing what i eat everyday. food is important here. i also have the worst appetite in the world here. its so hot i find it a massive challange to eat so when i do eat im full after 3 forkfuls, then i leave tons and feelk bad cos its so lush but then 1 hour later im starvin marvin how annoying. anyways we did the food with a obligatory chang (which i think im developing an allergy against) we then had a wander round some shops and went and found a lovely man called charlie who had long hair, a hot body and was wearing a skirt... sarong. whatever. he lured us into his tattoo shop with his charm and we said we wanted some tattoos and we knew what we wanted, so he showed us loadsa the work they do there and it all looked very clean so we booked to come in the next day. janine was getting a lady buddha with a lotus flower and she had a pic aklready and she was like 'dya want me to email you the pic' he was so chilled all like 'naaa' i wanted writing in thai so i needed him to translate it for me. he seemed very relaxed and almost fell asleep when we were in there (probably) so we then went back to get ready for the paaaartaaay via the 7/11 for chang. we found a bar to go to first that offered free shot and fire show so we were straight there. no wonder the fireshow was free it was terrible, literally the worst show we have ever seen they kept dropping the flames etc at one point he ran in to the sea and dropped it all by accident. terrible, i was considering getting up there myself but i didnt want to embarrass them anymore! the free shot was a lot better it was like a 3 in 1 shot of vodka lemon it was vile but at least it was authentic haha. we sat on the beach bar chilling watching the stars and ignoring the fire show. we then did the gangnam style dance on the beach as its tradition. then we made loadsa super cool (not) friends to get in the tuk tuk with us to the party as it was miles away as all the best parties in asia are. one of them was irish and he was a real gypsy and he went to appleby horse fair. so asked if he would grab me... and he did i was so scared haha! theres one thing off me bucket list. there was also 2 really annoying dive instructors who were american and something weird? a girl from denmark who spend the entire journey telling me she was such a lonely traveller as she is so lonely and hasnt made any friends the whole time she;d been in thailand, she'd actually been on koh tao for 2 weeks crazy fool. anyways with crack like that nee wonder she aint got no mates, i couldnt wait for the tuk tuk to get us there, there was also some weird swedish man (not our Dr Pete unfortunately) and then finally a nice normal dutch lad, who was litterally campbell dempseys twin brother he looked like him and just was him it was so sweet he was a canny one. he was also very quiet bless but he danced with us a lot of the night as he felt safe with us as we are so nice. he was also a solo traveller, he was gutted we had already been to laos as he was looking for people to go with him there. so we got to the castle and dumped all the losers apart from dutch jonathan, and went straight to the bar and got ourselves a crack bucket each which came with a free t shirt! it was also the nicest bucket we have experienced in SE asia. it had vodka, red wine, red bull and got knows what else in but it was lush either way. we then danced like it was 1999. they played some really cool chooons including the yeah yeah yeahs which made me super happy. we then started playing the sticker game as we had purchased some man united stickers from the 7/11 so the aim of the game is to put stickers on people so they dont realise. so some really weird boy wouldnt leave me alone so i sticjkered him up good and proper they were on his neck , back, front of his t shirt. literally all over. dutch jonathan was loving it as in holland they are all quite sensible (apart from the drugs). we got some impressive photos for evidence. this was the boy whose line was 'why dont you come back to mine...i have s*** loadsa condoms' i couldnt believe my ears so he repeated it. and oh how i laughed. the lines people have here are bad but that one is probably never going to be beaten! Janine then got stalked all night by a brazilian man which was hillarious she was shouting at him in french but he spoke spanish so no idea what was happening there haha. after we'd danced like goons and seen a man being sick on his own feet it was time for us to leave so we went on the hunt for food. obviously there was some gross looking food at the enterence on the way in to the castle but we decided against that as it had meat in and we wanted cheesey chips. didnt happen either way so we ended up getting the tuk tuk back with dutch jonathan and some other new weirdos. janine then was amazed to realise 7/11's are actually 24/7s here shes so special. honestly what they teach the kids in yorkshire these days... we managed to get some crisps and water so we were happy we at least got some food in.

the next day we were soo fresh it was amazing haha. we went for breakfast at a english cafe, and then we hit the beach as it was soooooo hot again the sea is soo lush in koh tao. after we'd spend the chilling we went back to the tattoo parlour 45 mins early to remind them we wanted tattoos as we werent sure if they beleived we would be back. but apparently they did so the man in the shop rang charlie for us as he wasnt there and we were told to come back at 7 so we went to a lovely thai ladies pad thai stand and i had the best pad thai ever. janine got chicken in hers which is shame as shes a veggie haha oh dear i got more chicken whoop! they chicken was stored in a lovely plastic box with ice cubes in...

we then went back to tattoo man and charlie finally arrived back and the other man Keo was just finishing our designs and even though we werent sure they took us seriously they had designed janines lady buddha with lotus and my writing. while janine went first as hers would take the longest charlie went off on his motorbike bear foot of course to get mine shrinked, when he came back he convinced us to get some chang in our lives so i went to the shop. beer and tattoos all at once i bloody love thailand. the bamboo tattoo stick is mental it looks like a fountain pen nib it was amazing to watch. janines took like 2 hours, mine took 20 mins thank god as it was soo painful in parts, really bad pain. ribs are not good places for tattoos, apparently bamboo is 50% less painful than machine tattoos too!! we then made the guys pose for photos and off we went for some more food, we then went and met Henrys friend Kellie who lives in koh tao, we went to the bar she owns had a few beers then we went to her friends bar on the beach, she has 3 dogs and they followed us all the way there. we then had a few drinks there then headed back to her bar where the black eyed peas turned up how cool. Will.i.am actually drove me home later on that night on his motor bike as kellie drove Janine. it was a rather random but cool night, we got back really late and then janine wouldnt let me sleep and kept trying her best to jump on me and kept smashing my tattoo in - cheers mate!! i think we went to bed at maybe 5.30 which is a shame as our taxi for the ferry was 9am dammit. so we got up rough as managed time for a shower this time at least and then made our ferry to chumpon, our plan was to stay there for one night as it sounded cool in my lonely planet however when we got there we'd missed the shuttle there and it was 500baht to get there as it was miles away to the city from the ferry, janine had also realised she was flign from bangkok the next day too and chumpon is like a 7 hour bus ride away fron there so we decided to instead book on the bus to go straight to hua hin instead - 4 hour bus ride so it meant janine could have the full night here and get a mini bus in the morning to bangkok which is only 3 hours away. we are so clever. on the bus ride here we stopped at the most amazing service station ever, it was amazing it has the best food stands iv ever seen it was so random! janine got pineapple which came with chilli salt? bloody asians are mad. i seen a girl eating pork balls in sauce out of a carrier bag. i think if i ever manage to eat food out of a carrier bag like that i can change my nationality to 'official white asian'. we finally made it to hua hin the bus was soooo hot, they almost wouldnt let us on it in the first place too cos we didnt have the yellow reciepts we only had our pink ferry ones. but we had the appropriate stickers on stating we were off to hua hin so they accepted us. later on in the night i found the yellow receipts in my pocket... oops. we went straight to a guest house from my book near the sea which is super cool and has a fan and cold showers only. dammit. the room doesnt have windows it has mosquito mesh haha nevermind. it is soo cheap 3.50 a night per person. the room is soo hot though, but i think thats because the heat seems even more hot here somehow. hua hin seemed a bit american on arrival but it is so lush, it has a amzing night market we bought so much stuff last night after we spent approximately 5 hours trying to find the bus terminal for janine to book her ticket to bangkok. everyone was sending us to diff bus stops until eventually we met a lovely canadian by chance who personally took us there and told the thai people what she wanted as he speaks thai as hes lived her 2 years he was soo nice and if he hadnt overheard us asking a thai man we would probably still be looking for it now. she finally got sorted on to a mini bus for 7.30 am. one of the hulls boys is coming to meet me here today apparently he is on the bus now im not so sure haha. his brother went home yesterday so i think we are now both solo travellers again. me and janine toasted our last night with frozen margaritas and daquiris at the market in a cool market bar where we met another crazy swedish person. 3rd swedish i've met in 6 weeks and i can confirm officially now that they are all flipping nuts!! this man was 70 year old massive racist, had had 3 wives which i assume he paid for. his last wife ran off with all of his baht (hes lived in thailand for 12 years) he sounds scottish when he spoke in english which was pretty entertaining. he was so annoying tho we actually had to leave the bar. soo annoying. the night market has the only beggars iv seen in the whole of thailand i think. they are blind and walk round singing kareoke. its weird cos i seen that in china too? random! they freak me out way. the market also has real bbqs! smells like home bbqs but without the rain!! there was also some young 5 year old girls doing gangnam style on repeat in the market for money which traumatised me as i had just been reading about the sex tourism of kids and these were dancing like gypsys! not good at all. anyways we then went and got some small changs and sat on the beach watching the freaky crabs. we then went home straight to bed and this morning janine left me :( bad times i miss her already. she talks more than anyone iv ever met (even you Maccy). iv insisted she texts me when she makes it bangkok airport as she has been very thai about her travels so far (lazy) haha, so if i know she has made it there i will know she can get to singapore.

thats it for the moment guys i need to change some money all the banks are shut they dont open until 11am how silly. so need to do that before hitting the beach. lylt xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
