Lost Ross again this morning, found him in a hammock having an early morning nap.
Couldn't wait for some eggs at breakfast this morning, they're bloody lovely!
We wanted to change our bike because I kept cutting out but they didn't have anymore so Ross and Scott zoomed off up the road whilst I had to walk... To find a garage that had mopeds left over, apparently this is the busiest Koh Phangan has been in a very long time.
Thy finally found one, it was a lovely bike no scratches; only we handed over the passport and money and as we did they started having an argument with a Russian couple who had taken photos of the moped before they had it showing scratches but they weren't having any of it, so we were a little scared they would do the same to us so the three of us circled the bike we hired for about 5 minutes, Scott had a photo album full of close ups of the ped, they weren't getting money off us! Scott was really nervous about driving it I think just incase!
We headed for total wipeout, this was going to be fun!
To actually enter the water you have to use the rope swing, holding on to a bar and just falling off the high ledge and swinging into the water, so many girls just swung off the ledge and dropped straight into the water, where it was shallow and they weren't the most elegant of falls either.
We totally underestimated how difficult climbing onto these blow up climbing walls it would be, they don't keep still they move around, the upper body strength you need to actually pull yourself up onto these things is hell of a lot because you have no where to put your feet only tread water and hook them up onto the inflatable at the height as your shoulders whilst your in the water.
I managed to get round the whole obstacle course except for the big red balls, they aren't still in the water they move about because they're only attached to a metal pole (which me n Ross smashed our heels on when falling off) and some string.
Scott wanted to do a timed lap before he got in but realised afterwards how difficult it actually is! Haha.
Second time around I fell head first into the water in between the rollers and Scott tried walking across them, got to the last one and fell onto the platform smashing his stomach into it, how he didn't get winded I don't know! He just slid down into the water, all of us watching in suspense, but he did pop his head up from the water eventually!
Ross and Scott had a go of the giant pillow; Scott went first... You have to jump on it from under the swing ledge and scoot your way to the end lying face up and then 2 or 3 of the young lads that work there jump off the ledge and on the other end of the pillow to allow you to bounce up into the air and land in the water. Scott had three young boys and he ran in the air trying to keep himself up, landing in the water on his stomach. He looked pale as a ghost when he came up, he got winded really bad to the point I thought he was going to faint or be sick. Then Ross had a go and he landed bum first so he had a massive red patch on his thighs and back! I am definitely going to be giving that one a miss!
It wasn't until afterwards when the adrenaline wore off that I realised how much my body was tired and Aching, underestimated this bad boy a hell of a lot! But it was totally worth it!
Had some food in the upstairs café, you could tell that those four were arriving on the island it started to get really dark and cloudy!
We waited on the beach for a while at their hotel, they were about two hours late because the weather was so choppy and they arrived at the pier in Haad Rin which is at the opposite end of the blinking island to their hotel, typical! Couldn't wait any longer so went back to hotel and as we did they had arrived, going up their end for food tonight :)
Again we had to wait for them when we got there because they weren't anywhere to be seen in their rooms or restaurant n pool, so we had a drink and aunty Lynne and mum walked straight passed us - that's the norm now. They get nattering too much and it ends up in them being totally oblivious to everyone and everything around them.
We went for dinner at a thai restaurant run by this thai woman, I think she done everything, waited/cooked/cleaned/poured drinks. Helped that we were the only group of people in there. Took forever for our food to come out but it tasted nice when it did arrive (all mix and match one had finished before the other had arrived - standard procedure)
Uncle Terry brought his rucksack for some unknown reason haha, we only left the restaurant and headed for this amazing reggae treehouse bar the chuckle brothers had found, when we got to the top of the road uncle terry realised he's forgotten his bag so he headed back to get it when he was out of sight the lady came passed us on her bike with his rucksack, haha! So she went back and found him on the way, all you could here coming from out of the darkness was uncle terry screaming 'b******ing rucksack, just my luck! Ahhh stop the bike' legs stuck straight out wobbling on the back! Haha! Bless her bet she had hell of a job balancing that bike with Perry on the back!
We got to this reggae tree house, it was pretty quirky the way the set it out, it was unfinished but but finished at the same time... If that makes sense? Quirky posters and ornaments and sculptures everywhere, they had a reggae Asian band on, with dreadlocks. Funniest thing I have ever seen.
Everyone was lying on the carpet and looked absolutely stewed. The gym of weed in there was incredible, and there weren't even any windows or doors so why the smell couldn't have wafted out I don't know; I had to get out because my chest felt right from the smell and passive inhaling of it all. I was walking out high myself I think!
Didn't feel the greatest so had a tackticle chunder in the toilet at mum and dad's apartment which made me feel so much better!
