Oh this picture is of Lake Tekapo...see the little church...cute hey?!

So we made it to Christchurch and the end of our travels in NZ..im so sad its all nearly over and it went so quickly its unbelievable!!! But I have had a great time and still have three weeks until I fly to Oz.

We stayed a night with the family marljin worked for here, they were really sweet and we cooked them all some food for having us. It was also good to stay there a night so we could clean our car and sort out all our things...in other words Rebecca had to try and squeeze stuff into her bag!!!!

Arrived in Christchurch yesterday and started working in the Hostel Coachmans Backpackers its called. Its really nice though, it used to be an old hotel but they did it all up and turned it into a funky hostel. Its really cool, nice clean facilties and we have unsuite, the girls are lovely too. !!!! So we are just working for our accomodation which basically means cleaning roms etc to pay for our board. Good system and what a great way to save money...ah hem!

So its all good here. Last night though at about 11.30 i was fast asleep and was woken up by a girl in our room and the fire alarms were going off, we had to evacuate everyone out of the hostel and onto the street LOL there were 4 fire engines there aswelll!! Luckily it was a false alarm and some idiot from the street ran in and smashed the glass!!!!! So that was a bit of drama for us!

I love Christchurch though its so sweet! Also I love the fact that all the street names are English Cites...like Manchester St and Worcester St and the river that runs through here is called the Avon (exactly the same as the one in Dorset!!)

We have just had our hair cut for about 15 pounds which is a real bargin and it looks ok..ish! There is a cute tram that goes around the 'city' centre aswell and there is an awesome free shuttle bus to the cheap 'Pac and Save' Supermarket...cool!! We are going out tonight I think for a few drinks...I havent been out since Wellington and im not including Blenhiem because it was a dive hehe!!
