We did another day in Naples today. We started the day by heading out to Herculaneum. It’s story is basically the same as Pompeii but it was smaller and based on how the volcano hit it, it was better preserved. We really got into every nook and cranny and it was awesome.

After that we headed into the royal palace. It was pretty cool but not as large as other countries. The church that was reminiscent of the pantheon across the square was closed. However there was some sort of military display going on in the square that we looked at for a few minutes.

We also looked at the outside of a castle but didn’t go in as it was just the municipal museum.

After that we decided to call it an early day and we headed home. All in all it was a good day.

Oh and we are great pizza for lunch again.
