This is the Bear coming to you live from our tent in the Sahara desert along the Algerian border. I had heard that the Sahara desert is one of the hottest places on earth. It does not seem that way tonight. It feels quite cold in our beautiful private tent. We do have lots of blankets though. This means I will also gets lots of cuddles tonight which makes me happy.

Due to lack of sufficient heating I have woke up the last two nights with someone else on my side of the bed stealing body heat. I’m loving it.

We managed to get here late after all the road delays. I think it was a blessing though. We are camping close to the hotel which means all the modern African amenities are only 100m away.

We are looking forward to a camel ride in the morning to watch the sunrise.
