Today was definitely a catch up day!

After a lateish start, I spent a couple of hours catching up on emails and with friends, including a skype with my sister before the internet cut out :(

After that, we head into the town of Tsukuba and did some shopping - grabbed some delicious lunch (seriously, I have to stop with the tempura) before getting back and skyping Kris and Nat which was really wonderful and made me terribly homesick, I'm looking forward to seeing them.

Then we finished up with an interesting dinner - I accidentally ended up with pepper and chilli tofu as well as chips and weird sweet seasame balls, I paid a lot because the woman was so lovely and tried so hard to help us and speak in english.

The night ended watching funny youtube videos and looking for the resident cat, Gladys. I didn't get much sleep but it was nice to not be running around - my feet have stopped bleeding and are in the healing process.
