Ahhh Tokyo! What a city!

Today a group of us jumped on the train and faced the big city. Lights, colours and interesting characters roamed every street and it was full of life. We went shopping in the electronic district and spent most of the day wondering fun and quirky shops - I even managed to nail down a couple of presents! After lunch, we decided a quick backtrack to Ueno was neccessary find the National Science Museum - and we werent disappointed at all. Skeletons, animal sculptures and hand painted botanical drawings lined the walls and ceilings, what a wonderful place!

We came back to Tokyo and invested in a cheap dinner before finally making our way back to Tsukuba. My feet are aching and bruised, I got very wet again and I'm exhausted but the day itself was worth it - I've never seen anything like it before and I wasn't even in the city centre!

I wonder what adventures tomorrow holds...
