So after our visit to the Doc in Hue we drove to Hoi An. Luckily we stayed at this hotel for three nights so Tom could recover from his measles! Well we checked in and Tom went straight to bed were as I went for lunch with the group and a bit of a tour round the city. We ate at this place called Bale Well recommended by plonely planet as it said on the side! We sat down and did not have a menu, the girls just brought the food out straight away, pork skewers, spring roll, papaya salad and wraps. The girls were unbelievable so funny and no English! They showed us how to make it but I didn't get chance to make my own wrap as the girl stood by me and had one made every time I finished! Then after eating as much as we could, they took the plates away and brought pineapple :( disgusting. They try to feed you it but I wasn't having any of that, chocolate then yes! So after a big lunch we walks round the tailors they seem quite good but I was not up for getting a tailor made outfit scrunched in my bag pack so decided not to buy anything. Hoi An was a nice break from the chaos of Hanoi, more relaxed! Exactly what Tom needed. A place to go back to as Tom did not see much I saw enough to know I likethe place it ain't too shabby!!
