Arrived in Vang Vieng the other day which is full of young westerners getting smashed so we enjoyed it. Its really cheap here. Me and Rikki had 2 beers and 2 main meals and it was about 4 quid! Or 50,000 Kip! We payed 10 pound each to do an adventure tour which included tubing, trekking and kayaking. It also included lunch. Tubing is were you are sat in a rubber ring and float down the river stopping at riverside bars on the way! We did the tubing through a cave which was brilliant! The kayaking was also good until I capsised me and Rikki.... twice. ups.
We took a short 4 hour mini bus trip to Vientiane this morning as we prepare for our last night in Laos :( The city is so laid back so far, and the hotel is very nice. I would suggest coming here if you are older and want to come to Laos. (Mum & Dad, & Auntie Ann Ha), but I would avoid Vang Vieng as I dont think you would like it.
Laos has been brilliant, and has been a major suprise. To say it is one of the poorest countries in the world, no1 goes hungry, the streets are clean and most people drive really nice cars and live in big houses!
We fly to Vietnam tomorrow to Hanoi, where we spend 1 night before going to Halong Bay. So when you are all at work on Monday, I will be drinking a beer in the South China Sea whilst looking at a beautiful view.
Will update when in Vietnam...

Koplok I took title' to be a synonym for (literary) work'.It is used twice in the sense I mean in the foinlwolg passage. James Patterson has sold more books than any other author (according to Bookscan), and in total, James's books have sold an estimated 220 million copies worldwide. Since 2006, one out of every seventeen hardcover fiction books sold was a Patterson title. He is the first author to have #1 new titles simultaneously on The New York Times adult and children's bestsellers lists.'
