Kia Ora

Since we wrote last we left Queenstown and travelled to Fox Glacier - where we did a four hour hike up through the rainforest and ended up on the Glacier itself! We had to wear crampons to ensure we didnt slip about on the snow / ice. It was really cool and as you can see we have added some pictures. It was also surprisingly warm up there too.

We also saw some spectacular country side, waterfalls and mountains on our journey through the country yesterday. Last night we stayed at some lodges at Franz Josef Glacier and had a good ole English meal - Bangers and Mash!!! lol and having a few drinks and watching the Rugby before heading off to bed.

Today we have mainly been travelling - we stopped off at a Jade Factory - which had some amazing pieces of jewellery. Sadly they were too expensive - but we may see how much money we have left when we arrive in Auckland - may treat oursleves!!

We are now back in Christchurch for some of the tour groups last night before we head off to Wellington on the North Island. We have a 6am start tomorrow - so no partying too hard tonight!
