Kia Ora Since we wrote last we left Queenstown and travelled to Fox Glacier - where we did a four hour hike up through the rainforest and ended up on the Glacier itself! We had to wear crampons to ensure we didnt slip about on the snow / ice. It was really cool and as you can see we have added some pictures. It was also surprisingly warm up there too. Kia Ora Today we got up at 9.30am after 10hours of well deserved sleep!!! We first got the tram ride around Christchurch's main square and saw the main sites, such as :- the Botanical Gardens, The River Avon where you can go punting, The Cathedral, Art Galleries and Museums! Hey We have just arrived safely in New Zealand and eveything looks really nice especially the Base Backpackers where we are staying for the next three nights. Well yesterday we did our Jet Boat - and it definately was a great experience. We went slowly across the Harbour and under the Bridge before being thrown at 360 degree angles left and right and then going really fast and coming to a sudden hault!!!
