Kia Ora!

Following our blog entry yesterday we had a BBQ for tea. The people who run the hotel that we are staying in cooked it for us- steak, sausages and lots of salad. Unfortunately the steaks were not cooked well, a bit too red for us so we ended up leaving them! After tea last night we headed down the road for a couple of drinks and then had quite an early night....it was a Sunday.

Up early today (6.15am) as we had to be ready for a boat cruise that we have just completed. Our tour manager thought it left at 8am, but it was actually 9am so we were all a bit mad at him.

The cruise was good although a little wet - we have bad weather in the Bay of Islands! On the cruise we saw lots of little islands, volcanic islands, the 'Hole In The Rock' and even some dolphins!!! The dolphins put on a bit of a show for us, plus a dog swam out from the beach to play with the dolphins- which was quite amusing!!! For a moment Teresa got a little worried as she thought the dolphines were attacking the dog! We have lots of pictures from the cruise this morning, and are currently adding these!

So we have now finished the cruise, will spend some time on the net and then plan to have some good ole' fish n chips for lunch!!! Think we will have a lazy afternoon and go out for dinner tonight.

Tomorrow morning we will be heading back to Auckland where we finish our tour. We then have 2 and a half days in Auckland. We have a city tour booked for one of the days, just need to decide what to do for the other.

On Friday we catch our flight to Fiji!!!! Hopefully it will be nice and hot....and we will be able to turn brown again...lol.
