Kia Ora

Today we got up at 9.30am after 10hours of well deserved sleep!!!

We first got the tram ride around Christchurch's main square and saw the main sites, such as :- the Botanical Gardens, The River Avon where you can go punting, The Cathedral, Art Galleries and Museums! This took around 30minutes to do, so after this we took several pictures and ventured by bus to the Gondola which is near a place called.....Norwich!!!

There were also towns called Lincoln, Peterborough,Scarborough and Brighton, so definately feeling at home!! We rode the Gondola up an extinct volcano and had a drink up the top whilst also taking in the 360degree view of Christchurch and the sea and lakes. It was blinking freezing up the top - needed our woolly jumps! lol

Afterwards we got the metro back to Christchurch and explored a bit more before stopping of at The Vic and Whale pub for dinner. We did some shopping and arer now back at our hostel updating the blog and pictures for you guys!
