Spring break has begun, Search of the good surf, peaceful places and friends I haven't met yet. After we gave up our Pecatu house, I slept in our friends villa in Seminyak. Sleeping on a couch is no problem for me and one night I actually slept in my surf bag, because no couches were free... nice experience and good for my budget also.

My friend Joonas came with my trip to Lombok. Last thursday we tried to leave there and took a taxi to the harbor of Sanur. We both are quite no worries laid back dudes, so we didn'n book a boat, just hoped that there's a one to Lombok. That day we didn't get a boat ride, but couple of cold Bintangs eased the evening. Next day we learned the lesson and booked a "speedboat", which turned out quite slow because of the many stops. Nevertheless we arrived to Lombok and took a taxi to the southern part of the island called Kuta Lombok.

Joonas had couple of friends there, Valtteri and Juuso, who arrenged an awesome saturday with lot of activities. First we surfed at Gerupuk's inside break and afterwards had a lunch in this mountain restaurant calles Ashtari. It is a chilling restaurant with and awesome view to the bay of Kuta Lombok... a real stress remover I would say. After chillin we headed to see some monkeys and then climbed to a hill to watch the sun set. One of the best days of my journey so far, cheers mates!

Kuta Lombok is like a perfect beginning for my spring break: lot of surf breaks around, peaceful place without traffic at all and very nice people... place to slow down and let your mind just wander. Last days I've been surfing of course, but also met new people and just enjoyed the athmosphere. I have no plan for the future, but why should I... I live the search day by day so lets see where's my next destination. Internet here is slow and I don't have my laptop, but pictures are coming as soon as possible to make you guys jealous.
