Having only travelled for an hour last night the boat was a lot calmer and we had our first good nights sleep. After breakfast we went on the dingy to a wet landing where we saw lava tunnels, this is where the lava on top cools and goes hard but inside it is still hot and flowing and so leaves a hollow tunnel. We saw lots more sea lions, iguanas and crabs - there was one baby sea lion who looked particularly weak and we all wanted to help him but we were told they don't help them which we all found sad.
Whilst waiting for the dingy back to the boat there was a few sea lions playing in the sea by the shore and they were all swimming around us, this was really cool and the baby ones were so cute. We quickly changed into snorkel gear and went snorkelling from the dingy around a rocky part of the island, we saw lots of fish - blue eyed damsel fish, white-banded angel fish, yellow-tailed surgeon fish, moorish idols, blue parrotfish and a shark! I was quite nervous of it as it was quite big but it was a white tipped one and we had been told they were not likely to attack us.
We then came back on the boat and after lunch we sat and watched a DVD on the Galapagos and had tea (kind of!) and hot chocolate. We think the bar man Javier has a bit of a crush on Browny as he gave her his email and asked her for hers! Unfortunately she didn't have a pen...
We watched some of the footage from snorkelling that I took on my camera and the shark video was really cool. We then went on a panga ride which was a trip through the mangroves in the dingy in small groups, we went in the first group with the Dutch couple. We saw lots of wildlife including blue footed boobies, pelicans, lava gulls - of which there are only 400 pairs, turtles - some were mating, some spotted manta rays and we thing we saw the fins of a shark at one point!
We came back on the boat and it was soon time for dinner - spaghetti bolognese, garlic bread and roasted veg - everyone was happy! We all had a cocktail with the crew and they did some thank you speeches and toasted to the trip.
After dinner we played the card game 's*** head' with the Dutch couple and the co captain Edi. Everyone went to bed and me and browny sat talking to Edi he showed us pictures of his children and told us how he spends 6 weeks at sea and then get 2 weeks off. We went down to finish packing before we went to sleep for our final day on the cruise!
