Day 38 - Kununurra to Spring Creek Rest Area (248kms/2.5hrs)

Again we were awake early and we did some trip planning. We went and got some groceries and fuel then left Kununurra at 10:30am.

We spotted brumbys on the road but thankfully we had plenty of time to slow down this time.

We fuelled at Warmun which was a funny experience with the aboriginals parking in front of the bowser we needed when they weren’t even filling up their car. They soon realised when I got out of the car and they moved for us.

We arrived at Spring Creek Rest area at 2pm. Which meant we had some time to chill. Josh had fun building a fire while Bronte and I played cards.

We went for a walk along the dry creek bed and saw some helicopters rounding up the cattle.

We had dinner and watched a movie and were all in bed by 7:30pm (we can’t adjust to WA time!).
