Dinner last night had a taste of Japanese, as we endeavor to develop a palette for Eastern cuisine.
Funny moment to share was working out how best to consume...especially if chop sticks are served with this vegetable!

Peas are hard to come by-I think they think these are peas? Each pod has to be opened to pull out the maximum of two small peas! Ro will tell you matter of fact-they are NOT peas! They didn't quite hit his pea taste spot! He is kinda right...slimy peas with far thicker shell outer case (of the edible portion). Hayle has kindly informed they are ENDAMAME beans - thanks Hayles!

Real mission to get one pea!
