Walking to the shops on saturday to buy ingredients Tam needed to make a swiss roll, and we met Mr Tortoise in the road.  Ro quickly went to pick him up, but there was oncoming traffic so he was mindfully hesistant.  Tam bumped out to stop the traffic and Ro picked up the mister and moved him to the side of the road where there was some grass leading into a canal where there is plenty large and alive fish.  
Mister wet himself with fear and snuck into his home above board.  Not talking about Rohi here, but our tortoise.  The big question was, will he survive and is he a turtle or tortoise?  
We got our groceries and on returning home our mister stuck his head out to thank Rohi, and we knew he was a hiding turtle who had made his journey and ever so grateful.  So lovely to see him in the water;  so happy to have been there at the right time to be able to help too!  Thanks Ro xx
