Yipee!! The weather was on our side and the sun even came out!! Today i caught a helicoptor halfway up the glacier and then walked across it. It was amazing. Due to all the rain the day before it was all new ice and the guides had to cut out a new path. It was great fun even got to crawl through some ice caves which is quiet difficult!! I was half way through one when i lost my grip and slid all the way out again!! Made a great bruise on my leg and my knee which knocked against the ice is still sore now!! After walking around for an hour or so and admiring the view, (which is really bizarre as either side of the glacier is green mountains!!) we made our way back to where we started and waited for the helicopter to come pick us up how cool!! The glacier was an amazing colour in parts some blue some white it was fantastic!!
