WOW!! What an amazing 15 days im exhausted!! No time to rest though most of us from the tour are in Christchurch at least for 1 night so we all arrange to meet up and head out for dinner. Afterwards i manage to persaude a few to stay out for a few drinks!! We end up in an 80 bars - how exciting!! It was a great way to finish the tour and to say bye to most. WOW!! What can i say the experience was amazing. The weather was awful but made the whole experience better as all the rain made more waterfalls appear. So after catching a ferry and a short bus journey we arrived at our overnight vessel which was going to cruise us around the stunning Doubtful Sound. Once on board it was straight out on to the deck to admire the views, the rain got heavier and heavier but we just wrapped ourselves in raincoats and carried on!!...

So after a great morning exploring Fox Glacier it was back on the bus to head for Queenstown. Many stops along the way to admire the beautiful scenery. The first being Nights point lookout which was stunning. After a bit more driving we then stopped at thunder creek falls, a 5 minute walk to the lookout point and lots of annoying sandflies!! Yipee!! The weather was on our side and the sun even came out!! Today i caught a helicoptor halfway up the glacier and then walked across it. It was amazing. Due to all the rain the day before it was all new ice and the guides had to cut out a new path. It was great fun even got to crawl through some ice caves which is quiet difficult!!
