I got up at 6am to go snorkelling off Langford Island. Unfortunately the water wasn't that clear so I disn't see that mych so Doreen and I decided to swim back to the boat to see if we could see anymore. We saw a few fish but the swim was good as it was nice to be in the water. After breakfast we sunbathed - it was such a hot day! We then arrived at 10:30am and everyone was sad to leave as it was such a good trip: so relaxing, beautiful and fun.

When we got off the boat Gerrad, Farrah and Christina and I decided to sit by the lagoon and swim as it was so hot and we couldn't check into our hostel till 1pm. I saw Nikki a Dutch girl from my Fraser Island trip at the Lagoon and chatted to her. After some sunbathing and swimming the four of us went and got some lunch and I had a huge piece of battered fish and chips (the fish was so good!) whilst we sat by the water. After lunch I went to check in and as I walked to get some money out to give a deposit for the key I saw the Irish girls from my Fraser trip at the Lagoon. We caught up about our trips and tehn found out that they were going to the same bar (the Phoenix) later with their boat group too so I said I'd see them there. When I went to check into my room I chatted to two Canadians then went and explored Airlie Beach before going back to the room to get ready for the evening. It turned out that Nikki, Ben and Lizzie from my Fraser trip were all in my room which was really nice and as I wasn't ready in time to meet some of the people from my boat trip to head down to the bar I got ready with Lizzie and then headed with the Irish girls down there.

In the bar we had some 241 cocktails and I spent time with the Irish girls and Lizzie and the people from my boat. Grace told me that two guys from her boat trip were going to Magnetic Island's Full Moon Party too so she introduced me to them. As I was a bit tipsy I high-fived one of them to celebrate the fact that we were both going, probably making him think I was a bit mad! I was feeling a bit unwell as I have developed a sore throat so Lizzie and I decided to have an early night and walked back to the hostel at 10pm. I said to Brent and Stu (the two guys going to the party) that I'd probably see them on the coach as it sounded like we were on the same one the next day - unfortunately at 7:30am!
