We sailed to Tongue Bay and went across to Whitsunday Island and walked to Betty's beach and Whitehaven beach. The place is out of this world! It's true paradise with the most amazing white sand, hills in the background and the bluest waters. We posed for some photo's on the beach, doing things like jumping so it looked like you're coming out of a vegemite jar and skydiving. After a bit of sunbathing I went to cool down in the water and take some shots of this beautiful place. Whilst I was in the water a very good looking guy asked me if I wanted a picture taken in a very I'm not sure if you're English kind of way making hand gestures at me so I got ready for my photo shoot and sucked in my stomach accordingly! I got chatting to him and he was an Aussie who works as an Operations Manager for a hospital. After a bit of flirtatious chatting he asked if I could rub some suncream on his back so being health conscious I obliged. However, whilst I was massaging some suncream into his back I spotted my group having a group shot and then whilst I had the favour returned as I was feeling like my back might be burning (!) I saw my group start to leave so I had to quickly run off.
We walked up to Hill Inlet Lookout which gave amazing views and really was like a picture postcard. You can see the reef and it is truly breathtaking. We then saw doplhins whilst we were waiting for the dinghy to take us back to the boat and then we sailed to Luncheon Bay on Hook Island to do some more snorkelling. I saw a manteray and some fish.
We then sunbathed on the boat whilst we headed to Langford Island to stay the night. We ate warm nachos whilst we watched the sunset, which was beautiful as there were no other boats around and all you could see was the sun setting over the ocean. Jake, one of the crew members held up a sausage to attract some eagles and we had a show of eagles and seagulls diving down to try and get the food and then every so often he would throw a bit up in the air and the eagle would dive down and grab it. It was really fun to watch.
After lots of sunset photo's we had a BBQ on the boat and watched the slide show of photo's from the day - which took a long time as there were nearly 400 of them! - and then went to bed.
