France again.

We finally made it back to France where we sorted our gas problem out (sounds like a fairly serious medical problem doesn't it ) and off we went to Andorra. Absolutely beautiful scenery and I got my fair share of the Pyrenees which was one of the places I personally wanted to see.

We had heard that the shopping was pretty good in Andorra ( they say that there is over 2000 shops). Sue was in heaven. She managed to buy some new shoes that she had been looking for at half the price we had seen them in other places. Stayed there until mid afternoon and then we headed south towards Barcelona.

We free camped in a little village about 1 ½ hours out of Barcelona. We got an early start in the morning and made our way to a campground just out of the city. By the time Mr Garmin GPS had finished with us it was around 4 hours before we got there.

Betsy had sprung a leak when we used the shower so I dismantled half the van to get at it only to find the tap unit had packed it in so its our mission on Monday morning to sort that out. Hopefully not a biggie.

We got up early and caught the bus into Barcelona where we shouted ourselves a day pass on the tourist bus. Took all the stress out of things and we saw all the good bits.

We are now going to make a serious attempt to sell Betsy here in Spain. We called into a couple of yards when we were in Madrid and we couldn't believe the prices they were asking. We asked one salesman what he thought Betsy was worth and he told us a figure that was 6000 euro more than what we paid for her. So if you can believe him we might come out alright. Fingers crossed
