Sunday 13 June 2010 After 4 days in Croatia we have decided that we do like it here very much. It's very clean & fresh. People mow their lawns and have gardens. The roads are good and the sides are cut. In the south the mountains rise from the sea and are very rocky and they look very hot, as the temperature of 38 - 40 would confirm. Croatia 8th June Drove thru to this beautiful town and stayed in this lovely campground about 10 mins from the old town. The next day we caught the bus into the old town itself. What an extraordinary place. It's hard to believe that it has been rebuilt numerous times due to earthquakes and the ravages of war. The last being when the Yugoslavs bombed the township in 1992.
