Hi to all. We stayed overnight in this beautiful campsite overlooking the gorgeous little town of Lerici. The campgrounds here are quite difficult to find. Most of the time we have been leaving it to Mr Garmin and trust me he must think Betsy is part mountain goat because where they put some of these sites is beyond belief. We left Lerici and headed to Pisa. Lots of people and you can understand why when you see this tower. It does tend to defy the laws of gravity somewhat. We went out to the coast in search of another campground but they were all closed. Not quite the season yet which I think is quite fortunate as, judging by the preparation activity ,these places along the coast would become almost unbearable, There are kilometers of lodgings, restaurants and places that people come to get on the beach,,mostly private. Finally found this nice campground a bit further north. Off to Lucca and then thru to Florence tomorrow.
