Today's been a bit of a nonevent. It's been overcast, very windy and from early afternoon it's rained without a break.
We did some basic housekeeping, washing at the local laundromat and food shopping.
We booked our tickets for tomorrow's Agawa train on the strength of a weather forecast that it'll be better tomorrow so fingers crossed. We also booked two nights in St Ignace so we can (if the weather is good) have a day over on Mackinaw Island & do the Soo Locks boat trip.
A short drive got us down to the lake and we did a bit of a walk around the gardens down there before the rain hit and sent us scurrying for the car.
Here in the Soo it seems to be pretty much blue collar, a steel town. It could just be that it's Sunday and wet but there's not too much happening.
We have an early start on the train tomorrow so we tried for an early night.
