Tschhh, Tschhh... That is the sound I woke up to this morning. The sound of the sea crashing agains the shore.

Yes I safely made it over to Ko Chang Island and the beautiful Paradise Palms bungalows.

As it's low season I was able to get a good deal and it's still far from slumming it in the hostels!

I plan to stay here in hadd kai mook (pearl beach) for two nights for some post Pattaya relaxation, before I head further south to livelier Lonely Beach area.

All I can say about this place is that it's perfect for secluded relaxation. The bungalow I'm staying in is literally on the beach (the blog picture represents the view from lying in my bed!!)

For someone travelling alone I'd probably think 2 nights in this bungalow would be more than sufficient as there is basically nothing here.

However, I'm certainy going to enjoy this tranquil atmosphere before I get back into party mode.

I was fortunate to get in the Paradise Palms resort, just before owners Matt & Tara close down and head to Australia for a month. This is a small family run business which makes it all the more personal.
