I Started our last day full day in Pedreguer by giving the car a good wash ready for the trip home to the UK. By the time I had finished the car and swept up the leaves on the terrace the others were up and we started with breakfast on the terrace appreciating the beautiful weather. after a few little jobs in the morning six of us headed off to the village of Parcent to L'Er restaurant that specializes in Paella. They still cook their Paella on open wood fires giving it a distinctive flavor. I do not envy the chef his job at all, it is very hot work and he is kept very busy cooking and tending the fires all at once. The restaurant was absolutely packed and the noisiest place ever!! However the food is magnificent and the Sangria was pretty good too. After lunch we headed back home for a dip in the pool and a little siesta before thinking about packing ready for an early start tomorrow.
Packing was left until late in the evening until after dinner was over. We had another very pleasant evening on the terrace until we finally slipped into bed at 12.30am (early by Spanish standards).
