Well I think we woke up in paradise. The sun is shining, don't have to drive today and have been able to unpack the case. We had breakfast on the terrace with Pat and John before heading into Pedreguer for lunch. We went to a small bar where we had drinks and Tapas. The tapas was so good especially the octopus which had to be the most tender octopus I have ever eaten. Once we finished lunch (4.30pm) we headed home for a siesta and a swim. Hard life but someone has to do it!
After lazing around the pool for a couple of hours we headed into Javea for a stroll along the promenade and shops before Heading off to a local restaurant for dinner. The food was really good and amazingly cheap (3 courses including wine) only 10€ per head. Always keen to try something local I ordered Sepia (cuttlefish) which was grilled whole, very tender and tasty. Fortunately we had decided to sit inside because it was windy when we got there as at about 1am all the people sitting outside came running inside as the heavens opened up for a sudden downpour. Once it stopped we headed off home for an early night!! And slipped into bed about 2.00am
