This morning woke a bit early to another beautiful start to the day. After breakfast we all set off for a walk along the beach front at Denier La Rotas (about 8 - 10kms) It was good to get out and burn off a few calories, which I for one seem to have been collecting for a while!! Large numbers of people were sunbathing on the rocks, stones and any other surface they could find

In the evening we went into Gato for dinner. We were lucky to get into Trossetts restaurant As the village has just started Festiva and all the locals were out in force. The Penya (clubs) had all ordered huge takeaway Paellas we counted well over a dozen being collected while we were there. The owners of the restaurant were just able to set up one table for us as the whole place was set up for two huge groups. It never ceases to amaze me how late everyone eats in Spain, nobody left the restaurant much before 1am and we were a fair bit later than that. Even so we still seemed to be too early for the festivities so headed home for a G & T before heading off to bed about 2.30am
