So I had three days of waking up free of new bug bites. Today is day four, and I am not sure if my skin is spazzing out or if we´re back to square one. Hmm what to say about Granada. We had a little flub up because we forgot which day of the week it was and didn´t realize that the Alhambra, the castle to see in Granada, was only open certain days of the week. So we failed to get tickets to see the fabulous gardens or interiors of the palace, but we still managed to sneak a peak of the outside and wander through the main castle. We stopped in Madrid for the day while we wait for our train to Granada this evening. Lucky for us, October 12th is a national holiday, so people are out in full force with flags draped around them, a full on military display in the sky, streets closed off, etc. Oh, and the museums are all free!
