We made it to Prague! The landscpae here is gorgeous and the train ride was great across Germany and the Czech Republic. We spent all of today walking through architecturally stimulating buildings, and streets crowded with tourists. Apparently crystal and garnets or jewelry are huge attractions in the shopping category.
Tour guides here will carry anything from an umbrella to a stick with ribbon on it in attempt to not lose their paying customers. It's humorous.
We say the inside of St. Vitas Cathedral today and the stained glass windows were gorgeous. The outside structure looked similar to stuff we saw in Edinburgh. Funny how it seems the more you travel, you tend to find similarities between all these exotic places.
Jessie thinks it's a good idea for us to get a tour book on Portland and go see all the wonderful sites we have around us and we just don't realize. Anyone can get a headstart on it for us and let us know what to see!
As for tomorrow, our last day in Prague, I anticipate some more wandering, checking out the famous clock tower, the national theater and a couple of beautiful viewpoints in parks around the outskirts of the city.
