Just to clarify, I believe this website is based in the UK so that's why the posting time is a little weird.

Yay! You're in the land of my people!! Hahaha!!!!
I'm glad to hear it is such an eye opening, positive experience (despite the fear of robbery/rape/etc . . . ) I can't wait to hear about what sort of new outlooks this trip will give you in your life! If only all humans could experience the feeling you have when learning about new cultures, I think there would be less war and more compassion. Hm, at any rate, you owe me a phone call! Best wishes on the remainder of your trip and stay safe! Talk to you soon!

I'm soo counting down the days till you come home!!!!

It's been awhile since I read your blog. It really has brightened my day, especially when I picture you and your Dad together. Yes he is a very rich man! I'm anxious for him to come back so that I can offer him a fish head for dinner.
I look through your pictures and see some familiar places. I'm going to go upstairs and pack a bag!
Safe travels. Love John

Okay last message I swear - I just find it amusing that it's 3:12 pm on wed in Hong Kong, where I am, and it's 11:12 pm Tuesday at home, and yet on this blog it has my posting time as 7:11 am on Wed? So - where is this blog located? hee hee. . .

Also tell dad hi! And tell him that he had better come back! Justin is holding down the fort nicely but there is a small chance that with me in Asia and Dad in Egypt, he may completely lose his mind. : ) we wouldn't want that, now, would we? Hee hee.
Love you both!

Hi sister! Man - I can't believe how far away we are from each other! Actually, maybe we are closer now than we were? you in Egypt and I'm in Hong Kong! Arrived yesterday, flying to Taipei tomorrow. Jet lag is nasty - 15 hour flight over and 16 hr time difference - yikes! I actually got up and jogged this morning and now I feel like the ground is moving - maybe not the best idea!
I have some time in between negotiations and am catching up on all of your blogs. You are such a fantastic writer and I have caught myself tearing up just reading because I can hear you as if you were right here and I am reminded of how much I love and miss you! I am so proud of you - being such a resourceful and tenacious traveller. Being away from home for that long can be so hard. I selfishly am dying for you to get back but enjoy every second of your travels. Maybe you can come with me to Asia in the spring! : )
Love,
Big Sis

So I was watching Passport to Europe on the Travel Channel and Samantha Brown made Naples seem like a cakewalk . . . I always thought she was a bit too optimistic.
