Left Berlin and headed for Dresden. Only a 2 hour drive thanks to those magnificent German autobahns, sitting on 130km/hr it goes very fast ( although not as fast as some cars). Did a bit of planning before setting off today as neither of us could face another day of too much walking. Caught the UBahn out to the Olympic stadium, really amazing how it's still functional after 70 odd years and perry lakes didn't even last 50. The stadium is now the home ground for Hertha BSC, the local Berlin soccer team. Big day of touristing today as this is really the first big city with lots of things that we want to do and see. Left Poznan around 10 am and ken the gps said it was a 3.5 hr drive. We really caught him out this time as the Poles have built a new Autostrada since he was programmed so it was only about 2 hrs. Went for a walk and had coffee and did a bit of fruit shopping in Hamburg before heading off to Flensburg. Really flying today, got the Renault up to 160km/hr when passing but still cars flying past us! Stopped at Glucksburg castle and did the tourist thing.
