Did all our planning before heading off again into town. Stephen wanted to go to the Military History Museum which is not my cup of tea so we headed off in different directions for the day. I had a bit of a look around the new town, which ironically is actually the old part as it mostly survived the war so is still original whereas the old town was rebuilt post war. Left Berlin and headed for Dresden. Only a 2 hour drive thanks to those magnificent German autobahns, sitting on 130km/hr it goes very fast ( although not as fast as some cars). Found our lodgings, great little pension in a lovely area. Caught tram into town and had a good look around after finding a map. Seems like a really nice little city.
