We had a fairly smooth journey on the nightbus. However we were visited by the police, who rudely interrupted what little sleep we were getting, by allowing a big black fierce looking German shepherd dog to shove its nose around our seats. I know he gave Nicola quite a fright. Luckily our bus was not found to be part of a drug cartel and we mananged to be at Sevilla by 7.35.
It didn't take us to long to find our hostel. The heat was apparent straight away - pleasent to walk at 8am, unbearable at 3pm.
After putting our bags in storage, we went out to explore the city. At 11am we joined a walking tour which was interesting and it was good to get an overview of the city.
Already having walked quite a few miles and with the temperature going up we had icecreams, frozen lemon drinks and bought big bottles of water. Then we hid away in a nice park under some trees and led down for the first time since our comfy bed in León. We both fell asleep.
We walked back to hostel very slowly about 6pm. The sun was still beating down strong. In total we walked around 10 miles today, we were both quite impressed with that.
At the hostel we cooked dinner (shoutout to Nicola for doing most of the cooking!). The meal was going well, until Nicola rubbed her eyes and the vicious Spanish onion remains caused her to cry for the rest of dinner.
It is a very friendly hostel and it has been nice speaking to lots of different people.
In the evening we went out for a sangría before having long cold showers. When we checked in earlier the staff apologised that the hot water wasn't working, I don't think either of us minded!

Zoe Mitchell Jealous you got to have Granizado! My favourite drink when we were in Barcelona! Glad I wasn't on the bus though. The dog sounds scary....
